Heck yeah, I ended 2013 with a great training week!
With running, my training volume is low but my quality is high. That's what I need for training for the Mount Washington road race. It's not that long, it's just brutally hard. I did 3 runs this week totally 22 miles. One was a progression run on the treadmill, and the other 2 were outside on steep hills. I pushed my paces a bit and was pleased. Running outside this week meant running on snow in some places, which added an extra challenge.

Time on the bike trainer totalled 4 hours and 52 minutes. I'm not completely sick of the bike trainer yet. Give me another month! I did a lot of standing repeats, and some long, hard intervals. I also did some yoga and core training. Oh, and about 6 miles of walking the dogs in the snow.
